Job summary

City Year is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across elementary, middle, and high school as part of City Year AmeriCorps. You will coach, mentor and help students improve attendance, literacy, and math skills while promoting positive behaviors in and out of the classroom.

The role includes planning and monitoring individual progress, collaborating with teachers, and participating in school-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students 1:1 and in small groups
• Support literacy and math skill development through varied activities
• Create and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate student support in class
• Lead/assist with after-school or extended-day programming
• Help sustain engagement with families and communities
