Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across elementary to high school. You will coach and mentor students, track progress, and partner with teachers to reinforce learning in and out of the classroom.

The role includes 2–4 weeks of initial training, ongoing collaboration with school staff, and opportunities to contribute to school-wide initiatives. This is a full-time, paid AmeriCorps position with benefits and stipend support.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring elementary, middle and/or high school students.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and work with teachers on in-class support.
• Support academic coaching, literacy and math skills through varied activities.
• Contribute to creating an engaging, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
