Job summary

City Year is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across schools in Missouri. You will coach and mentor elementary, middle and high school students, helping them earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors with teachers and staff.

You will receive 2–4 weeks of training at the start of the year and work with partner teachers to monitor progress and provide in-class support, aimed at student growth and school engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; 2–4 weeks of training provided at the start of the year.
• Ability to coach and mentor students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress.
• Be eligible to work in the United States (citizenship or permanent resident) and age 17–25 by July 2025.

Responsibilities
