Job summary

City Year is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support K-12 students as part of an AmeriCorps program. You will focus on coaching and mentoring, helping students achieve academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors at school.

No prior experience is required; 2–4 weeks of initial training will be provided. This is a paid, full-time AmeriCorps position with opportunities to work with teachers and staff across classrooms.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; 2–4 weeks of training provided.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to help them achieve academic success and improve attendance.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and support teachers with classroom instruction.
• Create engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environments in collaboration with teachers.
