Job summary

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree in education, counseling, psychology or related field.
• Professional judgment and ability to refer students to resources.

• Ability to communicate clearly with students, faculty and staff.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a caseload of undergraduate and graduate students via meetings.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for students.
• Outreach to students to assess needs and connect with resources.
• Lead learning communities and study groups.
• Coordinate with faculty and staff to develop programming.
• Maintain academic plans for students on academic standing.
• Track data on coaching activities in Starfish.
• Respond to Starfish referrals and flags.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings.
