Job summary

Community College of Rhode Island seeks a Student Success Coach to provide holistic, personalized support to an assigned group of students from enrollment to graduation. Duties include in-person and online meetings, calls, texts, and emails to keep students on track toward their degree and graduation.

The role involves proactive, data-informed outreach; working with a diverse student population; coordinating with CCRI departments and campus resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated outstanding customer service.
• Strong time management, problem solving, interpersonal, oral and written communications, and presentation skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Document, maintain, and track student interactions and progression in CCRI systems (Banner, Starfish, Argos Reports, CRM).
• Assist with registration, degree planning, financial aid options, and liaison between students and departments.
• Monitor and outreach to students; intervene early with Satisfactory Academic Progress; assist with financial aid appeal packages and documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of CCRI advising content, policies, and regulations; participate in ongoing training.
