Job summary

You will motivate students through self‑assessment, reflection and campus/community connections to support graduation.

The role requires collaboration, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success, including evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Three (3) years of experience in advising, mentoring, tutoring, student programming or student services in an educational or programming setting.
• Experience working with student population and recruitment efforts.
• Experience using an early alert/advising system powered by predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of students participating in the Say Yes to Education Cleveland program, first‑generation college students or students in academic difficulty.
• Coach students to achieve goals through self‑assessment, reflection and connection to campus and community resources with a goal of graduation.
• Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.
