Job summary

City Year in New Hampshire seeks an entry‑level Student Success Coach and Mentor to join as a full‑time AmeriCorps member. You will coach and mentor students across elementary, middle, and high school, helping them achieve academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors.

Training is provided (2–4 weeks) at the start of the year, and you will work closely with partner teachers and school staff throughout the program to support students and school initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring students to support academic success, attendance, and positive classroom behavior
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and collaborate with teachers on instruction
• Create engaging, safe, and supportive classroom spaces in partnership with teachers
• Provide 2–4 weeks of training at the start of the year and ongoing support from City Year staff
• Support and participate in whole-school initiatives and after-school/extended programming
