City Year NH is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students in classrooms and schools. As a City Year AmeriCorps member, you will coach, mentor and plan activities that help students earn academic success, improve attendance and build positive behaviors.

You’ll receive initial training, work with teachers, and participate in a range of school-based programs and events. Benefits include living stipend and education awards, with opportunities to grow professionally

Qualifications

• Entry-level AmeriCorps role with 2–4 weeks of training at start.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to serving students and communities.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to improve academic success and attendance.
• Plan and monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers.
• Support classroom instruction and student services.
• Participate in data collection and program activities.
