Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years in teaching, tutoring, advising or related programs.
• Experience in higher education and student tracking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an orientation for new students with expectations for fieldwork, academic rigor, licensure steps, and available support.
• Develop and document advising policies and procedures related to educational careers with holistic advising support.
• Proactively outreach and coach target students to succeed in coursework and self-directed learning with academic success plans.
• Establish partnerships with campus colleagues to support student enrollment, retention and completion initiatives.
• Document student interactions and coaching sessions in college systems in a timely manner.
• Provide reports and analytics regarding student interactions, attendance, and progress.
• Monitor centralized dashboard to track program enrollment, advising milestones and credentialing progress.
• Promote tutoring, mentoring, and job coaching services across campuses and modalities.
• Attend required professional development and collaborative advising meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
