Crowder College is seeking a skilled Case Manager to provide individualized, non-clinical case management for students, coordinating between campus and community resources to minimize barriers to academic and career goals.

This collaborative role supports advocacy, student engagement, success, retention, and graduation, with duties spanning referrals, crisis response, training, and data tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or closely related field
• Two years of experience in which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
• Experience providing crisis intervention, assessment and case management involving trauma-related responses, depression, anxiety and stress
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training programs for students, faculty and staff
• Strong written communication skills and accurate documentation

Responsibilities

• Serve as a standing member of the Crowder Cares Team
• Conduct individualized needs assessments and make referrals to campus/community resources
• Perform crisis assessments for students at risk to self or others
• Triage students referred to Student Accessibility Office and Counseling
• Lead department initiatives and assess resources for student support
• Provide consultation to students, staff, faculty and community members
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders crucial to student success
• Communicate sensitive information following FERPA, HIPAA and regulations
• Maintain confidential case information and accurate electronic records
