Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking a Student Development Advisor to provide college-wide student advisement and support guided pathways across campus. You will guide students in program selection, enrollment, and transcript-based placement while collaborating with staff to help remove barriers to success.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience; evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of FERPA within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Guide caseload of students with program selection and enrollment information.
• Complete an individualized Guided Pathway for each student.
• Manage caseload with advising technology and platforms.
• Counsel students on courses, prerequisites, and major selection.
• Prepare project communications and reports as required.
