Concorde Career Colleges seeks a Student Services Advisor to guide students through academic planning, career preparation and personal development. The role emphasizes a proactive, student-centered approach to support success and retention.

You will partner with campus teams to deliver coaching, workshops, and resource access while promoting a collegial campus environment and inclusive student experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in education field (preferred).
• Three years of experience in a proprietary online higher education environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of student information systems and other technology platforms (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized academic advising to students on course selections and degree requirements.
• Assist students with institutional policies, procedures, and available resources.
• Identify and address student concerns with tailored solutions or referrals.
• Conduct one-on-one or group advising sessions to support engagement and retention.
• Facilitate workshops on career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.
• Collaborate with career services to provide networking opportunities, job fairs and internships.
• Monitor progress and intervene early when students show difficulties.
• Develop strategies to promote retention and success, including outreach campaigns.
• Plan and coordinate student engagement activities to foster community.
• Maintain accurate student records in compliance with regulations.
• Generate reports and analyze data to measure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to address student needs.
