Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a proprietary online higher education environment preferred.
• Knowledge of student information systems and related platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized academic advising on courses, degree requirements, and pathways.
• Explain institutional policies and resources to support student success.
• Address student concerns with tailored solutions or referrals to campus resources.
• Lead one‑on‑one or group advising to boost engagement and retention.
• Run career planning sessions focused on resumes and interview prep.
• Partner with career services to connect students with job fairs and internships.
• Monitor progress and intervene when students show academic or personal challenges.
• Develop strategies to promote retention and student belonging.
