TCAT Northwest in Covington, TN, is seeking a part-time Student Support Specialist to assist with enrollment, orientation, recruitment, tours, and records management. The role supports the daily operations of Student Services and collaborates with campus staff to meet student needs.

Responsibilities include guiding students through the admissions process, coordinating orientations, and supporting outreach activities.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred or required by program area.
Minimum three years of related industry experience; five years preferred.
Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
Evidence of good character, organizational skills, professionalism, and mature judgment.

Responsibilities

Provide clear, friendly, and knowledgeable support to students about programs, enrollment steps, and financial aid.
Assist students with online applications via kiosks and guide them through enrollment steps.
Assist with new student orientation and ensure compliance with guidelines.
Maintain parking decal logs and issue student ID badges; manage records.
Schedule admissions testing and orientation sessions, and handle associated payments.
Support recruitment by participating in high school visits, fairs, and events.
