Job summary

TCAT-Jackson seeks a Student Support Associate to support the Student Services team and help manage recruitment, orientation, and student services tasks. The role may require some evenings or weekends and occasional travel to support campus activities.

The successful candidate will maintain student files, assist with compliance training, and help prepare academic reports and performance indicators. Collaboration with staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or higher; technical/associate degree preferred.
• Five years of full-time experience in education, business or industry.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment support: answer calls, assist walk-ins, give campus tours, and assist with New Student Orientation.
• Provide attendance counseling and reporting.
• Assist students with completion of compliance training.
• Assist with academic reports related to performance indicators and compliance.
• Maintain physical and electronic student files.
• Support team to ensure department success.
