Job summary

Hands On Atlanta is looking for AmeriCorps members committed to serving full-time for 10 months, mentoring students in emotional and academic growth. The position involves coaching students and providing essential behavioral support to enhance their competencies.

Members will receive a living stipend of $2,200 and an educational award after successfully completing the service. Additional benefits include health insurance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing 1,700 hours of full-time service over 10 months.
• Able to clear a NSOPW check.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, or Lawful Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students in emotional literacy and academic growth.
• Provide behavioral interventions to enhance student’s SEL competencies.
• Foster relationships with students, teachers, and school officials.
