Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a Registrar to provide direct support to new families, ensuring student registration per LCPS/state guidelines. The role includes maintaining attendance, immunization, grades, and transfer records, and supporting administrators and counselors with various clerical tasks.

The Registrar handles registrations, prepares documents, maintains logs, and coordinates with the Welcome Center for language support and special programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• General office or secretarial experience.
• Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to information requests from the public, parents, staff, and others.
• Collects required information to register new or transferring students and maintains waitlists.
• Verifies attendance and contacts families to document absences and issues.
• Enrolls students in the student information systems and processes pre-registrations.
• Files and maintains confidential student records and prepares documents.
• Cooperates with school staff to coordinate translation and interpretation needs.
