Job summary

Northeastern University’s Oakland campus seeks a Student Services Coordinator to design and execute cohort-based programming that supports student transition, belonging, and success. You will work across Student Life and campus partners to deliver intentional events and outreach that enhance the student experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in student affairs or related programs.
  • Knowledge of student development theory and best practices.
  • Proven expertise in event planning and program management.
  • Ability to engage across diverse constituencies and build partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Design, coordinate, and implement cohort-based programs for new students.
  • Develop programming sequences to build community across the academic year.
  • Assess programs using feedback and reporting to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to integrate curricular touchpoints.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise student staff for orientation initiatives.
  • Manage budgets, purchases, forecasting, and Concur submissions.
  • Represent the department on committees and coordinate community outreach.
