Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks a Supervisor of Student Activities to plan, organize, and oversee student life programs at the Northeast Campus. This full-time, on-site role supports academic, social, and leadership development and reports to department leadership.

Responsibilities include facility selection, event oversight, budget management, and supervision of staff and student organizations. Evening/weekend hours may be required during peak times; internal candidates only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ related experience.
• One (1) year’s supervising experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily functions of the campus student activities office and student life programs.
• Determine appropriate campus facilities for programs.
• Oversee and evaluate student activity events and confer with management.
• Manage program budgets and requisitions for student activities.
• Coordinate activities of student organizations to promote leadership and engagement.
• Recruit, select, and onboard new staff.
