Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2 years related work experience in a post-secondary institution required.
• Experience advising both traditional-aged students and adults in a higher education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify educational and career options with students and set academic and career goals.
• Monitor academic progress using technology and document status updates.
• Teach students to navigate to degree completion using campus systems and resources.
• Provide information and referrals to students needing services such as tutoring, counseling, financial aid, and disability services.
• Assist with transfer planning to universities and articulation agreements.
• Respond to early alerts and support retention initiatives.
