Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume call environments is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly to students.
• Familiarity with federal student loan programs and servicers is beneficial.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple student accounts.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls and respond to incoming calls from students regarding loan status, consolidation, and repayment options.
• Assist students with federal loan consolidation applications, repayment plan options, forbearance, and deferment requests.
• Work with delinquent or defaulted loans to identify resolution options.
• Communicate with federal loan servicers to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Guide students through the loan consolidation process and follow up until completion.
• Explain repayment options and assist with application requirements.
• Maintain records of student communications, loan statuses, and progress.
• Collect and review required documentation with confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Services to remove enrollment barriers.
• Meet productivity goals and provide exceptional student service.
