Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking a SIS Analyst II to configure and support the Student Information System (SIS). This role ensures reliability, security, and performance of the SIS environment across campus and collaborates with functional departments and external partners to translate needs into effective system solutions.

The candidate will develop documentation, train users, maintain data integrity, and participate in process improvements to align SIS with university

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years total experience/education in IST/IT/CS or related field.
• 6+ months configuring, monitoring, or supporting business applications or databases.
• 6+ months troubleshooting, database administration, or application support.
• Not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization in the US.

Responsabilités

• Configure and maintain ERP modules to support institutional processes.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve system errors, access issues, and workflow failures.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and business analysts to diagnose issues.
• Submit vendor support tickets and assist in applying fixes.
• Support data validation activities and ensure security/compliance.
• Test patches and document results; train end users.
• Assist in ERP-related projects, upgrades, and implementations.
