Portland State University, Oregon’s public research university, seeks a Housing Occupancy Manager in Portland. This role leads all housing assignments across terms, coordinating moves, waitlists, and turnover to ensure smooth occupant transitions.

You will partner with Residence Life, Athletics, Disability Resource Center, and International Student & Scholar Services, serving as the office lead for Housing Operations and occasionally supporting evenings and weekends.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of professional University Housing experience preferred.
• Professional work experience in a lead role.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Excel/Sheets).
• Experience with student contact, database integrity, and systems planning.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all occupancy management efforts for first-year, transfer, returning and summer housing.
• Coordinate initial placements, waitlist, and room changes; schedule turnovers with Maintenance and Summer Conferencing.
• Collaborate with Residence Life, Athletics, Disability Resource Center, International Student & Scholar Services and others to support special groups/communities.
• Serve as main office Lead for Housing Operations and backup to the Director of Housing and Residence Life.
