Central City Concern in Portland, OR seeks an Occupancy Specialist to maximize housing occupancy while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. You'll manage waitlists, income certifications, and Section 8 subsidies within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Collaborating with property managers and resident services, you’ll monitor vacancies, prepare complex leases, and assist with rent collections, all while Upholding Fair Housing standards and program guidelines.

Formación

• LIHTC tenant certification experience or familiarity is preferred.
• Experience maintaining compliant housing files and records.
• Strong knowledge of housing regulations and fair housing practices.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to create documents and spreadsheets.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize portfolio occupancy by coordinating applicants and units.
• Prepare residential leases and addenda.
• Coordinate waitlists and Section 8 subsidy processing with Home Forward.
• Process income verification documents and prepare Tenant Income Certifications.
• Post rent payments, deposits, and other revenue items; maintain tenant files.
• Produce periodic occupancy and certification reports; assist with data processing.
• Support resident accommodations procedures and back up roles as needed.
• Ensure privacy and security regulations are followed; report breaches.
