Job summary

College Housing Northwest is seeking a full-time, exempt Community Manager to lead a two-site student housing community in Portland. You will guide resident and staff teams, ensure supportive environments, and run operations in a fiscally responsible manner focused on student success.

The role involves split on-site duties at Connery Place and the 601, managing leasing, services, and program delivery while upholding Fair Housing and Oregon landlord-tenant laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
• 3-5 years of property management, student housing, or related experience, preferably over multiple sites/locations
• 3 or more years of supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing, Equal Housing Opportunity, and Oregon Landlord-Tenant law
• Great time management
• Collaborative nature
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership, direction, and support to the teams at the community
• Responsible for positive student engagement and services throughout the life cycle of tenancy
• Manages and directs day-to-day leasing operations and related accounting
• Proactively develops and implements new practices and training to support a culture of growth
