Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Wilmington Commons community. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform preventative tasks, handle unit turns, and ensure safety and quality across the property.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge, strong problem-solving, and excellent resident communication. Schedule includes day shifts with on-call and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability for night, weekend, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Ensure all work orders are completed promptly, professionally, and accurately.
• Perform emergency maintenance as required.
