Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the management of The Wilde community in Raleigh. You will repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and structural systems, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare units for new residents.

You will also respond to emergencies and coordinate with vendors as needed. The role emphasizes strong communication with residents and a commitment to safety, with on-call and weekend duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Ensure all work orders are completed promptly, professionally, and accurately.
• Perform emergency maintenance as required.
