Job summary

B.HOM Student Living LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and support the upkeep of our student living communities. You will perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and emergency maintenance while delivering timely, high-quality service to residents.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems, with 1 year of related maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and on-call as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Ensure work orders are completed promptly and safely.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas for safety and upkeep.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Participate in on-call after-hours maintenance as required.
