Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and uphold the property's standards in Honolulu, HI. You will perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and emergency maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment.

Ideal candidates have basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, and are able to work independently, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Availability for night, weekend, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Ensure timely, professional completion of work orders.
• Perform emergency maintenance when required.
• Inspect buildings and common areas for maintenance needs.
• Assist with vendor scheduling and bid oversight.
• Deliver excellent resident service.
