Job summary

Yugo Pinnacle State College is seeking a Leasing Agent to handle all aspects of leasing and marketing for our apartment community. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, secure deposits, and prepare lease agreements in line with policy and Fair Housing guidelines.

You will coordinate move-ins and renewals, maintain records, support outreach efforts, monitor market trends, and participate in weekly leasing meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in residential properties or university housing preferred.
• Property management software experience with RealPage or Entrata preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and communicate property features to support leasing goals.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a professional, timely manner.
• Process rental applications, secure deposits, and prepare lease agreements per policies.
• Coordinate move-in/out, ensure apartments are ready, and provide positive onboarding.
• Maintain leasing records, guest cards, reports, lease files, and commission tracking.
• Support renewal notices and follow-up to encourage tenancy.
• Assist with marketing and outreach to generate leads and occupancy.
• Monitor local market conditions, pricing, and trends to inform strategies.
• Attend weekly leasing meetings and report traffic and activity.
• Coordinate service requests with maintenance and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Contribute to presentation of leasing office and model units.
• Build positive resident relationships and address concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with policies and applicable laws.
• Support operations with a flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
