Job summary

Covista is seeking a Student Finance Advisor to manage a portfolio of 850-950 students and provide proactive, accurate financial guidance. You will work in a contact center environment supporting students across modalities and collaborate with academic partners to resolve financing issues.

The role requires handling Title IV programs knowledge, maintaining high service standards and identifying process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable work experience.
• Experience in higher education a plus.
• Knowledge of federal Title IV and state financial aid regulations a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze each student’s situation to develop and implement an individualized financial plan.
• Collaborate with departments to improve the student experience.
• Provide accurate, current knowledge of policies and regulations to students.
• Assist students in making informed financial decisions.
