Job summary

Covista, a leading healthcare education organization, seeks a Student Finance Advisor to guide undergraduate and graduate students in financing their education. You will manage a portfolio of 850–950 students, provide informed financial guidance, and collaborate with academic partners to resolve funding issues.

The role emphasizes adherence to Title IV policies, a strong customer-service mindset, and a hybrid in-office work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or comparable work experience.
• Experience in higher education is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal Title IV and state financial aid regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, databases and internet applications.
• Strong interpersonal, mathematical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure completion.
• Self-motivation and ownership to resolve complex issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze student situations to develop individualized financial plans.
• Provide accurate student finance advice and guidance.
• Collaborate with departments to deliver a seamless student experience.
• Explain Title IV policies and related procedures to students.
• Handle escalated student concerns with timely resolutions.
• Contribute to process improvements and new roll-out projects.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on financial aid programs and regulations.
