Job summary

Covista, a leading healthcare educator, seeks a Manager, Student Finance to oversee student finance and accounts receivable operations. You will lead a team, ensure accurate, timely advisement to students and academic partners, and contribute to programs that support student success.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, 4+ years of professional experience, and proven leadership. You will ensure policy compliance and manage staffing and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• 4+ years of combined professional experience.
• Prior people management experience.
• Experience in a service oriented industry and environment.
• Experience in budget preparation, financial modeling and accounting management.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid rules and regulations.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, organization and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a fast paced environment.
• Student Finance experience and knowledge of federal/state financial aid laws.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages a Student Finance team to improve academic partner services.
• Promotes integrity, accuracy, and timely service delivery to students/partners.
• Staffing decisions, interviews, hiring/promotion, and role clarity.
• Evaluate practices and advise on improvements for customer service/operations.
• Provide tracking, reporting, and assessment of performance.
• Develops and monitors schedules for effective coverage.
• May prepare staffing and budget plans within service levels.
• Counsel escalated concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Stay current on policies, Title IV, military/veteran affairs, and state regulations.
• Communicate policies clearly to students and partners.
• Share best practices and improve the student experience.
