Job summary

Covista is seeking a Manager, Student Finance to lead the student finance/accounts receivable operations and support services for academic partners. You will guide daily workflows, develop initiatives to improve customer service, and align activities with Covista’s mission.

The role requires strong leadership and deep knowledge of Federal/State financial aid regulations, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• 4 years of combined professional experience.
• Prior people management experience.
• Experience in a service oriented industry.
• Budget preparation, financial modeling and accounting management.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial aid software.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, organization and interpersonal communication skills.
• Student Finance experience and knowledge of federal/state programs.
• Ability to set deadlines and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages a Student Finance team and improves academic partner services.
• Ensures accuracy and timeliness in service delivery to students/partners.
• Manages staffing and budget planning within service levels.
• Counsels escalated student concerns and resolves issues.
• Maintains knowledge of policies and regulations affecting student finance.
• Develops best practices to improve the student experience.
