Job summary

Acceleration Academies is hiring an Engagement Coach in a temporary, part-time grant-funded role in Fort Myers. You will mentor students, support enrollment, and help them stay engaged toward graduation.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or early-career professionals who can build trust, manage conflicts calmly, and coordinate with families and staff using learning tools. This is a student-centered, outreach-focused position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; life experience in education or mentoring is valued.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; hardship or non-traditional paths are considered.
• Must be available to work 5–6 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enrollment and onboarding of new students.
• Serve as case manager for a cohort, tracking attendance and retention.
• Deliver one-on-one academic support and monitor progress.
• Support behavior management and participate in site operations.
• Advocate for students with access to academic and non-academic resources.
