Acceleration Academies in Miami, FL is seeking a Student Advocate to build meaningful relationships with learners, support enrollment, and guide progress toward earning a high school diploma. This onsite role focuses on mentoring, attendance, and removal of barriers to success.

You will deliver academic and non-academic support, coordinate with the student support team, and engage families while pursuing ongoing professional development and a commitment to equity in education.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent experience in youth support, case management, or education.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration and enrollment for new students.
• Provide comprehensive support during student orientation.
• Act as a case manager for a cohort of students and monitor attendance.
• Implement retention outreach and identify engagement barriers.
• Deliver one-on-one academic support and interventions.
• Collaborate with student support team to track learning pathways.
• Participate in professional development to improve practices.
• Support home visits and local travel as needed.
