Acceleration Academies is seeking a Graduation Candidate Advocate to mentor and advocate for students pursuing their high school diploma. You will provide academic and non-academic support, build meaningful relationships, and help remove barriers to attendance and progression.

The role emphasizes persistence, proactive outreach, and collaboration with center professionals to tailor learning pathways and ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years experience in educational support or case management.
• Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and edtech tools.
• Passion for supporting disengaged students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration and enrollment for new students.
• Provide orientation support to set students up for success.
• Act as case manager for a designated cohort, tracking attendance.
• Implement retention protocols through proactive outreach.
• Identify root causes of disengagement and remove barriers.
• Support recruitment and one-on-one academic interventions.
• Collaborate with student support team to track learning pathways.
• Participate in academy meetings and events.
• Travel between academy sites as needed.
