Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking an Enrollment & Student Engagement Coordinator to drive field-based recruitment and proactive outreach. You will build relationships with communities, families, and students to grow enrollment and re-engage those with attendance challenges.

The role requires an associate degree, 1–3 years in related work, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with Academy leadership to remove barriers and support student success in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in enrollment, recruitment, admissions, community outreach, family engagement, or educational support.
• Experience working with high school students, young adults, and families facing barriers to traditional education is strongly preferred.
• Strong relationship building and excellent communication across differences in race, gender, orientation, and background.
• Genuine field readiness for proactive outreach, including door-to-door canvassing and in-person follow-up.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for community outreach.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own enrollment growth targets and execute field-based recruitment strategies to generate qualified prospective Graduate Candidates.
• Conduct outreach in neighborhoods, apartment communities, community centers, and local venues.
• Visit prospective students and families through in-person visits, calls, texts, and events.
• Maintain a pipeline from contact to enrollment, with timely follow-up and data tracking.
• Collaborate with Academy leadership to remove barriers and improve conversion in the enrollment process.
• Engage in community events and partnerships that drive referrals and enrollment growth.
• Represent the Academy professionally and authentically in all community interactions.
