Job summary

Alamance-Burlington School System is seeking a Data Manager to maintain student attendance, enrollment and demographic records across assigned schools. The role focuses on using the district student information system to ensure accurate data, generate required reports, and support school operations.

Responsibilities include daily data entry, report preparation, and back-up data management while assisting with routine clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Strong data entry and clerical skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
• Experience with automated office environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, store and retrieve student attendance data using the district SIS.
• Prepare attendance, enrollment, and demographic reports monthly.
• Maintain back-up records and secure storage of data.
• Assist with correspondence to parents/guardians regarding absences.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues and support office workflows.
• Perform general clerical duties as needed.
