Job summary

Del Mar College Testing Center is seeking a Billing and Accounts Specialist to manage third-party sponsor billing, reconcile subledgers, post payments, and maintain student account records. You will verify charges, review documentation, and resolve discrepancies to support accurate student financial services.

This role also backs daily bank deposits, maintains contracts, and assists students with registration and inquiries about loans, billing, and payments across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years related experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Experience with billing and payment processes in education settings.

Responsibilities

• Process third-party sponsor billing and Dual Credit billing, verify documentation, post charges and payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Registrar's Office and Financial Aid to process tuition payments and balance records.
• Reconcile bookstore transactions and perform daily reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Review contracts and sponsor accounts; provide information to faculty, staff, vendors, and sponsors.
