Job summary

Covista in the United States is hiring for a role that acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and outside agencies to manage non‑TIV funding on student accounts. You will promote student success through accurate account processing and responsive support for internal customers and external agencies.

The position requires strong communication, numeric accuracy, and knowledge of higher education policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred with customer-service experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills with 1+ year experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a flexible remote environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time management and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of higher education, military regulation or accounts receivable preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based/database software.

Responsibilities

• Supports internal customers and external agencies with professional communication via email, phone, Salesforce, and web conferencing.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve student debt/balance concerns.
• Processes Direct Bill, VA and/or accounts receivable with accuracy.
• Posts and reviews payment records including EFT, check, and credit transactions.
• Demonstrates understanding of compliance and regulations.
• Identifies opportunities and solutions to improve methods and embraces change.
• Participates in trainings to maintain system access for vendors, agencies, banking and loan systems.
• Works with Covista functions applying knowledge of military, finance and higher education policies.
• Maintains service levels and participates in team meetings and projects.
• Regularly reconciles accounts and ensures timely processing.
