Job summary

Shorelight, LLC is seeking a Student Accounts Specialist to manage student accounts across partnerships, performing month-end close, reconciliations, and receivables analysis. You will ensure financial controls and collaborate with Campus Operations, Enrollment Services, and Recruitment teams.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Revenue Accounting, you will deliver accurate account records, resolve variances, and contribute to audit readiness while supporting a service-oriented internal-external

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field required.
• Experience with Excel and CRM/accounting software.
• Ability to work with non-native English speakers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations in NetSuite.
• Process student payments in Salesforce and reconcile student balances and cash receipts.
• Review refund requests for student eligibility and policy compliance; coordinate with Accounts Payable.
• Provide excellent customer service to Campus Operations, Enrollment Services, and Recruitment teams regarding account status.
• Assist with corporate audit readiness and other projects as assigned.
• Help to improve internal processes, systems, and procedures.
