Cooper Farms is seeking a 1st shift Stud Farm Attendant to join our Oakwood team. This entry-level role supports animal care, medicine administration, and record-keeping in a small, hands-on farm setting.

Typical hours are 4:00am–12:00pm, five days a week with rotating weekends. Starting pay is $17.55 per hour, with potential to rise to $18.80 after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Administering medicines/vitamins as directed from manager
• Assisting with blood test and vaccinations as needed
• Keeping building exterior/grounds clean
• Maintaining acceptable litter quality
• Maintaining supply inventory and keeping accurate records for barn and flock

SHIFT HOURS:

Typically a 5-day work schedule, 4:00am-12:00pm, with a rotating weekend

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$17.55 with the potential of increasing to $18.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
