Job summary

JQ-IMEG in Dallas, TX seeks a Project Engineer 1 to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects. You will work with a team of engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include analysis and design of structural systems, client interaction, budgeting, scheduling, design reviews, quality control, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture; required.
• MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required; 2+ years experience; 4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop solutions.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality standards.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in structural engineering; contribute to R&D.
• Prioritize safety in all engineering work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee bidding, design, and construction administration phases.
