Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Associate Sales Rep to call on physicians and hospitals, promoting Abbott cardiac surgery devices and educating on indications, patient pathways, and lifetime management. You will conduct in-services, develop accounts, and present product benefits to clinicians in an assigned geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and flexible hours.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements (e.g., vaccination).

Responsibilities

• Call on physicians, labs, and hospitals to promote and sell Abbott medical devices.
• Identify opportunities to increase product utilization and market share.
• Assist in launching new products and expanding into low-penetrated accounts.
• Present product information to healthcare professionals to drive awareness.
• Build relationships with cardiology community and educate patient pathway.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to stay informed.
• Manage consigned inventory across hospitals.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and full inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Replenish inventory proactively based on case volume and forecasted demand.
• Monitor competitor activity, analyze statistics and prepare reports.
• Conduct territory analysis and contribute to strategic planning.
• Complete administrative tasks such as expense reports, scheduling, and travel planning.
