Job summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader designing devices and management solutions for Structural Heart disease. The Clinical Specialist will educate interventional cardiologists and catheter lab staff, provide technical support during procedures, and communicate product and market data to drive marketing strategies.

The role requires a strong clinical orientation, extensive cardiovascular experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent.
• 9+ years of cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years in Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable device clinical experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products.
• Inform customers of the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to key messaging.
• Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
