Job summary

Abbott in the United States is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for Structural Heart products across a defined region. The role includes educating interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff and ancillary personnel on product use and offering technical assistance during procedures.

You will communicate product, clinical and market data to stakeholders, contribute to marketing strategies, and travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years’ of Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable device specific clinical experience.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination for COVID-19; discuss accommodations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform them of latest product developments.
• Engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to messaging.
• Meet with health care providers to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions.
