Alpine, an ITW company, seeks an Engineering Team Lead to guide a high-performing team of engineers and designers focused on structural solutions for North America.

You will manage workload, provide technical oversight on complex truss designs, engage with customers on-site visits, and collaborate with sales and software teams to improve tools and workflows while upholding engineering standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on statics and material mechanics.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience; Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required.
• Experience with truss engineering or building components preferred.
• Working knowledge of codes and design standards (TPI, NDS, ASCE-7) a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers and designers.
• Prioritize, assign, and manage workload to meet customer deadlines.
• Review and guide complex truss designs for safety and code compliance.
• Provide technical support, onsite visits, and customer engagement.
• Partner with sales, technical teams, and software development to improve tools and workflows.
• Champion engineering standards and deliver training to improve performance.
