Job summary

Alpine, an ITW company, is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to manage a high-performing team of engineers and designers. You will oversee workload planning, guide complex truss designs for safety and code compliance, and engage with customers to resolve structural challenges across North America.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with statics and material mechanics emphasis.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
• Experience with truss engineering, component design, or drafting is a plus.
• Working knowledge of codes and design standards (e.g., TPI, NDS, ASCE-7).
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers and designers.
• Prioritize, assign, and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Review and guide complex truss designs for safety and code compliance.
• Provide technical support and conduct site visits to resolve structural issues.
• Partner with sales and software teams to improve tools and workflows.
• Champion engineering standards and deliver training to drive improvements.
